Description

“Sopron, September 8. 1959. Out of explanations. One slits one’s wrists…then someone comes and explains it all.” - The last note of Éva Szalánczki. She blew up on the western border. Stepped on a landmine when she tried to defect. Maybe.”

Lieutenant Marosi takes it upon himself to uncover Éva’s story and the cause of her mysterious death. We’ll never know who killed whom and why, but Marosi might get closer to himself with the help of the late Éva…

Intrajudicial deals with the past regime and all that is still valid today: loopholes, compromises, secret lovers, suppressions, lives lived in lies; and opposite all is the unyielding Éva. Because “What is loyalty guarded by walls?”
